Completion factor in massive open online course in developing countries: A literature review in 2015-2021

چکیده

Massive Open Online Course (MOOCs) has helped develop the education sector since Covid-19 pandemic, though it causes low retention. This study used a systematic literature review method to analyze factors affecting retention level of MOOCs participants in developing countries and worldwide. A total 89 publications Scopus journal during 2015-2021 26 published were examined. The results showed that MOOCs' include perceived ease use, usefulness, social influence, self-efficacy. However, motivation was an insignificant factor despite being significant Infrastructure internal for among participants, this can be further expanded using better methods.
